Hi again
Just a wee update as we have now reached another milestone of 60 days... so now completed are... 1. Online check in - after much deliberation we decided to request the Grandstand area and asked for an upper floor, thanks to Loves2plan for all the helpful advice. 2. Early rise yesterday morning and all fastpass selections done, first time I have been overly glad that we decided to tell the kids as we spent a lazy Sunday morning searching the park maps and rides and making the decisions together 3. Balance paid to Travel Republic for our 1 night stay at Hard Rock Hotel So all that I need to do now is: 1. Buy memory maker 2. Spends... I know the question has been asked a million times before but Im not sure how much to take, I was thinking $2,000 should be enough and this should let us do some shopping too as we wont have much food or drink to buy as we have DDP 3. Clothes shopping, boys are all kitted out and ready to go, but DH and I need quite a bit, I am very disappointed that none of my older holiday clothes fit now, I reckon I have put on around a stone in weight so I either seriously diet for the next 8 weeks or buy a full new wardrobe... at the moment the diet is winning (2 days in but Im starving) Hope everyone elses planning is coming along nicely too... this holiday cant come quick enough, I dont know if it is just the time it has been booked for or the planning that has been involved but I have never longed for a holiday so much in my life! |

Hello again everyone
Just an update as we near the 3 week mark! The excitement levels in the house are through the roof (and thats just the adults) Everything purchased, all balances paid, cash passport loaded up So all I had left to do was choose my park footwear and after much deliberation I chose these bad boys Nike Roshe Slip Ons - they seem super comfortable and look quite stylish too. I also plan on packing the "Holiday Bags" this weekend, my youngest calls them that, so the whole house no longer refer to them as suitcases. Its quite early for packing however I have a few busy weekends coming up as next weekend I am off to a weekend of concerts in Glasgow to see these beauts! Paolo Nutini and The View on Saturday at Bellahouston Park, then back on the Sunday to see Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris. So looking forward to this weekend and we have also booked a night at a hotel so a lovely child free weekend (bad parent) but sometimes it is required for sanity reasons |
