TUI into Melbourne

Was watching fFox 35 this morning and they had a piece on modernisation at Melbourne Airport where TUI will be bringing U.K. and Irish tourists to the facility.

I’m pretty gutted as Sanford was easy to get to and from. By the looks of it, all Car hire picks are a journey away so we have no idea what it’ll be like, pretty gutted as hubby knew his way from Sanford to Kissimmee
Uh oh, reckon we’ll be getting lost then?

I do the drive from Melbourne to Kissimmee regularly as my daughter has specialist physical therapy there. While 192 all the way is my least favorite route (due to traffic and endless traffic lights once you hit St Cloud), it is extremely straight forward if your main concern is getting lost. You really can pick up 192 right by the airport and stay on it all the way to the end at Highway 27 without any turns. It is actually more straightforward than the journey from Sanford even if a little further.

Can anyone advise how far away from the airport, the car hire pick ups are. At Sanford it was a 2 minute walk from airport arrivals ..I heard Melbourne car garages are miles away?
Is this the case..?

That’s brilliant
Thanks.
I just received a PM from the airport to confirm the rental garages are just across the road too! Happy Days
