Med cruise aug 2010... are they worth it?
just seen that Disney are doing a med cruise in aug 2010. wondering are they worth the expense? what do you do all day? is there a lot of shows etc? are pools really crowded? are cheap rooms tiny?
appreciate any advice! |

Is it worth doing a med cruise in August? Absolutley! Would I pay the extra $ for a Disney cruise? Maybe, if I have children that are into Disney etc...
DCL are very expensive and there are lots of other cruise lines that do the med... BUT, Disney do cruises soooo well! On port days of course there is so much to do... Florence and Rome are especially lovely. On sea days there are programmes of activities all day long, from martini tasting to towel folding, movies to sports games. As for the pools, well we just use the adult pool which is never crazy with people. The family pools are rather more busy I think. The shows are wonderful in the evenings, as you would expect from Disney. The cheapest rooms are not tiny, certainly not enormous but adequate for the time you spend in them! Ask away with any questions!

We are booked for 10 day Med cruise on 26th May with Disney Cruise Line. Kids are cruising free on Med cruises up to 26th May and this makes the cruise so much more affordable. You need to put KFO in the promotional offer part of the disney cruise line website and then it applies the discount.
We are really excited about the cruise and very much looking forward to it.

If you don't think you can afford a Med cruise, why not book a 3 or 4 night cruise to go with your holiday at Easter. They sale out of Port Canaveral which is only an hour away from the I4.
Disney cruises are the best!

hi bats ive just looked at that option, its much cheaper! The only thin is we have booked flights already and as it is 14 days seems too short to fit everything in. we are going with my younger sister and her 3 year old who are first timers so I think it would be too muh to add in to the itinery.
