Just booked 14 days at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for October 26th! Our first time ever staying onsite at Disney (been going for 20 years! ) so should be a good experience.
Love the fact that there is free dining and I didn't realise that you get 1 self serve and 1 waiter service, so that was a bonus.. Can I reserve my meals in advance (Waiter service) and do these include all Restaurants including the signature ones?

Yes! 28th September (so we're mostly October), 14 nights at the Yacht Club never been there before! It's our third florida trip together... 2 adults. We plan to do lots of food and wine festival, halloween horror nights, and trying all the new rides that weren't open last time we were in florida! Also crossing fingers for star wars land, but not a problem if it isn't open by then.
Only booked hotel and tickets... planning to wait until 11 months out to book flights but i'm getting nervous since thomas cook onea are already out. They're around 700 direct per adult. Is this a price worth booking or should we wait? Both flights are on a saturday which i guess is pricier, although i don't think it's uk school hols...

Looking at it but seems very expensive to go for 7 days so I am struggling with the idea. It would be £2778 for 7 nights at CRB for 2 adults and 2 kids (12 & 11) plus flights. I was hoping to keep it under £5000 but I don't think that will be possible. Don't know whether I am gutted or completely unrealistic.

Glad to hear you've got booked. AKL is amazing and you'll have a wonderful time.
Your TS meals can be booked from 180 days in advance. I can't think of any TS restaurants that aren't included off the top of my head. You can book signature restaurants too, but those meals are 2TS credits per person, so you need to do a bit of planning to make sure you don't run out of credits. If you're going off-site to other parks at all, it's s good way to use up the credits from those days
