Have seen some really great deals for may, we weren't gonna go this year or next, but I'm really tempted, only ever been late Nov, dec time, so what's may like for weather, crowds, park hours and special things on?

I love May. Good weather, not too humid in the early parts but does build towards the end. Parks can be busy as it’s mothers Day in the US in May, think this year it’s the 12th.

We went in May 2017 from the 14th to the 28th and we loved it. The weather was perfect, was hot but not too humid, only had rain a couple of times, crowd levels were manageable in Disney and really good in universal. We are going again this May but earlier in the month as we loved it.

We have been twice in May. The first time was May 2013 8th-22nd - the weather was glorious, hardly any rain and crowds fine. The second time was May 2018 19th-1st June - the weather was awful for most of our trip - rained most of the time or overcast and the crowd levels were high. I think if I was to go again in May, I’d try and go the first two weeks.
