I am guessing that someone has a trick as one of the ones i have passed whilst dropping DD to school has been there over a week whilst another has disappeared and is probably in s seniors stew Come to think about it the one that has disappeared is close to an old folks home

OP generally they get hit by cars, not run over, and either swiped to the side or crawl there and die.

Quite often if you Run a badger over it will manage to get to the side of the road before it dies as you generally swerve before you hit it properly
