Calling all runners!
As you can see from the countdown we are very close to returning to our happy place. Have any of you dibbers stayed over at Universal and done any jogging around the site? Ive goggled it and it would seem that there may be a running route but very little is written about it recently. Does one exist? I'm loving my running at the mo and will be using the gym at RPR but I'm an early morning outdoor runner and cannot think of anything better than running past the Universal globe and down past HRH... I know all you non runners will be thinking... staying in bed sounds better!
Thanks xx |

running in that heat isn't great if you're not used to it.
I took up running 2 years ago, i was going to keep up this on holiday but after running just a few feet and sweat half a pool worth, i thought better of it haha. we were lucky though as we stayed at SSR which does have a running trail. wish i could help you out on where you are |

I don’t know about jogging routes around Universal, but if you do Parkrun over here (free timed 5k run every Saturday morning) you may be interested to know that there is an official Parkrun not too far away. Parkrun Clermont Waterside is a lovely run with a 7:30am start - i’ll Be doing it again this trip.

I'm with Darwen Bird. I ran parkrun Clermont the last 2 weeks. It is beautiful. Back to my local parkrun now, it's a little cooler

We were at hrh last year and there was a few running routes but I do seem to remember that you could not run around the globe or the shopping area - not that my training for ocr's did me any good having won one the week before we went I then snapped my Achilles the week we came back and can never run again
