Economy light was slightly dearer than classic this morning too

To be honest other airlines aren’t much better but I can get London direct with VA or BA for about £1400. I’ve not done Xmas before so no idea if this is normal but we might be priced out
Is a really busy time I'm afraid. It's not just people heading off for holidays, you have loads of Americans heading home for Christmas. The price absolutely collapses 31st December.

Do keep monitoring, I was watching fights on the of chance of a bargain (yeah, right) and they change almost daily, by over £200 cheapest to dearest..

I'm not looking at skyscanner any more now. Am sure you will get better prices if you hold your nerve and are patient, but that's not one of my virtues ha ha
Have you checked that you will be able to collect your bags in London? Some carriers check your bags through to your final destination and the last time we flew with BA we didn’t see our bags at Heathrow as they checked them straight through

So, after ranting last night checked again when I got up and found our exact dates from man to MCO with premium less than economy! Frantically turned it into a fly drive, which we’ve never done before, cos I’ve not locked down the cats usual place and paid deposit... so we’re booked! Another countdown 🤗 just need to book hols from work and the cat hotel lol oh and somewhere to stay
Keep looking everyone x
