Love the dress! Are they rearranging your daughter’s?
Apparently DS’s will go ahead in sept but quite a few have said they won’t go ‘because it’ll be weird’
I guess they’ll all feel they’ve moved on by then?
It’s so sad. I really do feel gutted for year 11’s.
They’ve missed so much.
This is supposed to be their summer too. The one you always remember. DS had such a busy one planned and now he’s sat doing practically nothing each day
How is your daughter feeling about everything?

It would have been my daughters prom last night. Fortunately she only had a £15 dress she got in the sale at Dorothy Perkins which I was going to get altered to fit her a bit better.
She wasn’t fussed about going and is not going to the replacement Prom which has been arranged by a group of parents in April next year.

Beautiful dress!

My son had prom scheduled for 30th June and it’s now been moved to 10th September. The school have said they will move it again if necessary so that they don’t miss out.

For that reason, I haven’t bought my son his suit yet. I am waiting until nearer the time. I always feel for the girls as so much goes into the planning/prep for prom. My daughter spent the whole of Year 11 planning it with friends. My boys planned to turn up on the night and that’s about it! One decided not to go!

My sons should be the 2nd July, we had the email to say it was cancelled and the school are not rearranging the date 😕. Most of our local schools are moving the dates and have said they will all still get their prom. We hadn't got DS suit so no photo.
Keep posting the photos 😊
