Is Seat Selection Included with Virgin Flights?

We go next May so wondering when we can select seat (I've assumed 11 months before), and do Virgin charge for this if you are Economy?

You will be able to select when both dates are in the 330 day range. There is no cost for this.

You have to pay if it�s Economy Light but all other categories it�s free.

do you need passport numbers for this, or is that for check in only? We have one passport to apply for and need to do Esta's also

No you don't need passport numbers for seat selection but before travel you will need to input them as part of your API (Advance Passenger Information).

I believe economy light is now economy classic and seat selection is included.

If you do a fare quote on the VS website it says underneath Economy Light "Seat assigned at check in" which includes OLCI. So it doesn't seem to be Economy Classic.

Economy light is the basic level without free seat selection.

Classic is the original level and then they also added delight.

If you change your mind after you've booked, you can pay to choose your seat in advance from �30 each way in My booking, or take a checked in bag from �45 each way.
