Wander Wall - Virgin Atlantic
So slightly odd question but trying to work out best seat for flight back from Orlando to Gatwick in September. I'm registered blind and therefore struggle with low light levels a little. I'm travelling in Premium Economy and they mentioned they have a snack selection but I was curious as to whether this is at the front of the cabin (between upper and premium) or at the back (infront of economy) so I can work out the best seat to allow me to use this feature if I get peckish. On the way out the light levels are better so not an issue and Ive nabbed 19G in order to allow a bit of a recline but not sure if this will be as useful for the way back.

I don't think they have a Wander Wall on the 747s. Pretty sure this is just something on the A330 planes I'm afraid :-(

I have just read that the Wander Walls are on Virgin’s Dreamliners.

Check on Seat Guru - put your flight details in and it will tell you what plane it is and you can look at where things are on the plane. I cant remember as the last time 2016 we flew with them we were in Upper (used miles).

If they don't have the actual Wander wall on your flight there will be a basket of goodies in the galley you can help yourself to.
The galley with this is between PE and upper. So the forward seats in the PE cabin would be nearer.

It's on all the 747's if the crew decide to put it out which they do 99% of the time.
Now it's not a 'wall' as per the plane it was designed for but will be either a cardboard box or a basket. Downstairs it's located between PE and UC on one side of the plane or other. Never seen it both sides. There is also a basket in UC for those passengers. Upstairs it's in the rear galley at the top of the stairs. Sad to say the quality is plummeting! Didn't see any of the nice chocolate bars in May but they did have Club biscuits. How weird! This is a similar UC one but it will be a box about this size in PE.

Thanks all. I'll keep with the seat I've booked then as sounds like it will be a basket near the front (currently in 15C so in a good position for that I think).

Excited about Disney

Shows how sometimes you miss what is right in front of you... and learn something new every day. I have seen the baskets/boxes, but never thought to take a snack, just thought they maybe pass round to the kids...
Will have to have a snack this time just because I can 😀 Edited at 12:55 AM. |
