Carousel at MCO?

Hi anyone traveling into MCO the last few days...

How many carousels are running when you get off the virgin plane?

Have they re-started running 2 - Economy one belt and Premium/Upper the other belt?

We could'nt get to either in May as the masses and chaos in the immigration hall prevented any bag claimer getting within 10 yards of either belt.

I am of course aware that this does not answer you question. For what its worth, BA Club Priority Bags came on the same belt as the rest of the flight, and were contained in the third bale to be unloaded.

Good eh?

In May it was one belt for economy and one for Upper/Premium. Immigration was empty when we went, fingers crossed it'll be the same for you!

I am afraid it all depends on how many flights have arrived at the same time, in March this year Virgin had 2 belts working so our bags in UC/PE did come off within 5 minutes of it starting, but last September we were originally told that 2 belts would be used only to find after 20 minutes that they were all coming off on the same carousel ! and the UC/PE bags did not come off before Ecomony they were all together (which made trying to claim your bags interesting to say the least). They were all piled up on top of each other as only one baggage staff member was left on his own to try and sort them out as they appeared from the shoot below. I did feel sorry for him he was trying his best but was overwhelmed by the volume of bags.

We had the opposite last September, said it was one carousel but actually it was 2. Everyone in my family had their suitcase except me till I suddenly spotted it circling the Upper/PE carousel!
