Mobile FP+ Planning and SDMT

Getting a FP for SDMT 30 days out
in August has always been limited, but seems worse this year. If they are available it's around 10pm, limiting other plans.

Does anyone have a view on not booking a FP for SDMT, booking 3 other rides earlier. This would allow getting further FPs after the initial 3. Then just join the standby line for SDMT?

Toy Story Land will likely see increased attendance across all parks for 2018 (similar to Pandora) so that may explain why 7DMT is so limited.

You could book 3 FP+ elsewhere and try for 7DMT for Rope Drop to get in early before the queue time gets ridiculous.

Going to ruffle a few feathers but i genuinly cant see the hype about 7d. On a plus it is much better when its dark outside.

Last year, Sep/Oct, i.e. not busy time, we could only get evening FPs for 7DMT.

Rope-drop it should get you on quick. Get an early-ish Peter Pan FP maybe, that's a busy ride. Splash Mountain or BTMRR perhaps, that kind of thing.

I managed to get one at 5pm yesterday (30 days out). Still late for rolling 4th though. You could see about booking a pre park breakfast so you can join the queue earlier than most. Worked well for us in past.

Yes I couldn’t believe we’ve got slinky and not SDMT! Going to try and rope drop it but got four toddlers so unlikely!
