First thing to say is that you barely feel any motion on a cruise ship - except in very rough seas so it might not be a big problem.
Having said that, ginger is supposed to be very good for reducing sea-sickness so you could get some ginger tablets or capsules. Alternatively, I use the wrist bands that work on a pressure point and don't have any problems at all. You can pick up a pair in most big chemists. Hope that helps.

Hi Nicky
I'm dreadfully travel sick and I found the cruise a breeze and so did my DD I had one day when I had to take travel sickness tablets but other than that nothing, I felt more travel sick on the sight seeing bus in Lisbon Happy planning

I suffer really badly with motion sickness and also found the cruise a breeze. The only problem I had was on the sea day, when I felt a bit iffy, but I took a seasickness tablet and felt better

I suffer from really bad sea sickness and found that the cruise causes really bad sea sickness! However after a first day in 2005 when I felt like death - I now always take non drowsy Dramamine - works wonders - I can enjoy the cruise even in the worst weather

My friend did a cruise years ago and was very very sick. She went to the onboard doctor and he gave her an injection. She had to pay for it but she was never ill again for the rest of her holiday. Do they still do that?
