Tap water
Hello, just wondering if anyone knows if the tap water is safe to drink in Orlando? We're staying at POFQ and I didn't want to constantly be buying water bottles if it can be helped
Also can you refill water bottles in the restaurants? Thanks in advance

Tap water is considered safe to drink in the US and there are lots of water fountains around the parks providing free water.
However, I rarely drink water but my DH and DD drank the water and both had upset tums in Disney. We think it was the water and changed to bottled water. Of course we can't be sure it was the water but we will avoid it on future visits. |

It's America! The water is fine everywhere. Nothing wrong with it anywhere in the Country.
Nobody will get an upset stomach from their tap water and if somebody is ill it's from something else. No place will fill up a bottle for you albeit they have to give you a paper cup of water on request. I know where all the ice cold water fountains are.

Thanks guys I'll take a reusable bottle with me and fill up at QS service places I think, might avoid fountains as usually if the water is safe to drink but your still getting ill, its the fountains filters that haven't been cleaned properly as opposed to the filters. At least according to my old science teacher lol She put me off tap water for awhile :P

We used flat pouch type of reusable plastic bottles which attached to our bags or waist. They were lovely Disney ones from Poundland. Very lightweight and practical.
You could be right about the fountains being the cause of my DD and DH's illness as I didn't use the fountains at all but they did. |

Yuk. It might be safe for humans, but I cannot imagine drinking tap water either here or there because it is revolting.
I filter my water before putting it into the kettle! Although that is mainly to do with us having very hard water. |
