Will Volcano Bay be easily walkable from I-Drive?

From the map it looks as though it's not too far from the old WetnWild site, but could possibly involve using very busy roads?

Used to enjoy strolling up to Wet n Wild from an Idrive hotel and just staying for a couple hours then strolling back. Won't be the same if have to get a taxi/uber/shuttle

you will need to walk to the Citywalk bus stops, and catch a free shuttle there to Volcano Bay

from wet'n'wild, use the sidewalks to walk up Universal Boulevard, until you get to the bus loops at Citywalk along Hollywood Way

The actual site of WetNWild is to be hotels.

Volcano Bay is on the other side of the I4 actually on the Universal lot.

We were driving south on the I4 last week and were startled to see one of the loops of an enclosed water slide practically hanging over the off ramp - they must be really pushed for space.

To stroll to a water park from IDrive you are going to need Aquatica Tickets

It's on the edge of Cabana bay hotel but steps have been taken to stop people parking at this hotel. Will need to use the parking lot for US and IOA paying the $20 and then catch a shuttle bus/tram to water park

so far it's unclear if it will be walkable, even for onsite guests of Cabana Bay whose rooms overlook the waterpark.

If you can walk, it will be much faster to go catch a shuttle at citywalk

from Wet'n'Wild (junction Universal Bld & International Drive) you can walk (0.85 miles) to the citywalk bus stop

if you want to walk to Volcano Bay, you'll need to go to citywalk anyway, as there is no sidewalk to go towards RPR
so you'll need to clear security, follow the moving walkways, take the path towards the hotels behind margaritaville (rough area) and walk past Royal Pacific, and to Sapphire Falls, to reach Volcano Bay.
That's an additional 1.5+ miles once you're at Citywalk bus loop
