Just this morning, I was not expecting a response so quickly!

I did mine by email and was asked to call them on Wednesday the full payment went back on my Credit Card today.

Probably not as what happens if there is no availability for tour new dates? You would still need to ring to discuss it.

I'll await to see if they will do free dining next year and will decide thereafter, what to do.

My check in date was 22nd May, full deposit returned including a £50 amendment fee I had paid to change our room type from what we booked initially.
