Days about to get shorter

Hard to believe that today is the longest day of the year (Solstice), and now the days will start to get shorter

MH. I looked out for you today but couldn't see you there.

I have the contract to put the rest of the lintels on the existing uprights. They are quite heavy but I have a few of my Mates to help me.

I am now very sad, we’ve had no proper summer this year. Yesterday had potential I hang out all my washing and it peed down! Might as well stay fat this year!

Funny you say that because in just 6 months 4 days it will be Christmas day, and in just 3 or 4 months the Christmas adverts will be everywhere

I always think summer is July and August anyway and not June for some reason.
Won’t noice the nights cutting on for another eight weeks .

It will be gradual, but we mustn't be in denial that it's happening, and Father Christmas must be very busy.
