It clearly depends on the person you speak to, I would try again. I wouldn't want to spend time at a kiosk whilst over there.

When you speak to the initial operator, ask them to put you through to the ticket department, then tell them you would like to extend the tickets. That's what I did.

FYI: Just spoke to a different Disney representative who told me to hold-off changing our tickets (which expire end of Sep 21) as they are making 'policy changes' to them in the next 2 weeks...

Just found this thread - it's very helpful, thank you!

We have 21 day tickets and so far we had been told by American Attractions that we'd have to swap the 21 day tickets for 14 day tickets at a higher cost!

I'll leave it over the weekend to see if any policy changes happen and if not I'll try calling next week. Thanks so much everyone 😊

Has anyone managed to extend 21day tickets despite them no longer being sold?

I do feel a bit disgruntled with Disney because they are adding a cost for a ticket we bought before lockdown, and the fact Universal, Busch gardens and Seaworld have extended the tickets without additional costs.

How did you get the Universal Tickets extended?

Hi Keith1973,
I created a thread a while ago and copied an email from Disney after emailing to ask about our tickets bought in February 2019 which I hadn't been able to use.
Here's the response to my first email:

Finally got through to someone they hinted that the expiration on my tickets might get extended in September or I could pay $70 to extend them now. TBH it was worth the $140 just to not have to spend another 2 hours on the phone to Disney.
