Low Blood Pressure
Anyone suffer with low BP? If there anything you can do to raise it?
When I was younger I had the standard 120/80 other than when I pregnant I had high BP and ended up with pre eclampsia. At my age 40 check it was noted my BP was on the low side and I’ve just had my age 45 check and it was 92/64. I was told if either number dropped below 90 or 60 I’d have to see my GP. Only issue I really have is if I stand up too quickly I feel dizzy. |

I'm the same - its always been low and I'm now in my mid 60's. If my systolic gets to 100 thats a high BP for me. It's never really affected me but is always commented on - like you I sometimes feel dizzy but that's all.

Another one here, I know when mine drops too much as I just feel really nauseous. Nothing has ever raised it and as above it just gets commented on when I am at hospital.

I was gardening yesterday and every time I stood up I felt dizzy and like I could fall over
Is that a sign of low blood pressure?

Mine is always commented on as being low. I do have dizzy moments but they are random rather than when I stand etc. I find it strange because I’m such a stressy person, so you’d expect it to be the opposite- I sometimes wonder if my bp would grind to a halt if I stopped stressing as much
I asked a GP about it once but she seemed to think it wasn’t of concern if not coupled with other symptoms.
