New to here;

I have trip booked with my GF next September and as title says I am planning on proposing while we are there.

Has anyone proposed out of Disney?

We got engaged in 2019 in a hot air balloon over Orlando which was amazing, and then went to Magic Kingdom afterwards.

Plenty of people get engaged in Magic Kingdom but you’ll draw attention to yourselves, so it depends if you want privacy or public from your engagement

My brother proposed at the MK. (not to me obviously ha) He was going to do it at the hub in front of the castle but the photo pass cast member he spoke to mentioned the rose garden at the side was quieter and a better shot so they did that. Maybe get in touch with a cast member ahead of time and check what they would recommend?

I proposed to my wife at Discovery Cove. A dolphin delivered a buoy to her with 'Will you Marry me" written on it during our dolphin swim experience. She was totally not expecting it and they took some great photos for us.
Have seen many people propose in front of the castle, also seen it happen a few times at Cinderellas Royal Table restaurant.

Yes, the rose garden to the side of the castle, or by the Cinderella wishing well. Get your GF to close her eyes and make a wish, then you’re on one knee when she opens her eyes!
If the train station balcony is open, you could ask her there, with a beautiful view of Main Street and the castle.
If you go for a meal, ask them to write will you marry me on her dessert plate.
If there are character meet and greets, say meeting Mickey, ask her there and there will be a photo pass photographer there; tell them or the accompanying cast member what you are going to and they’ll be ready.
Whatever you choose, I’m sure it will be so romantic! Good luck!

my stepson proposed to his girlfriend during firework display at magic kingdom in 2017 and now they have split lol

My fiance proposed to me in the Magic Kingdom, the Christmas decorations were up and we went to have our picture taken in front of the large Christmas tree that was just inside the Park, we went and stood in front of the tree and got ready for a photo and he got down on one knee, it was very romantic and lots of lovely pictures from the photo pass photographers 😊
