Cancelled the Wish
We have taken the unfortunate decision to cancel our cruise on the wish next August. I know things can change but at the moment it would result in my kids potentially needing 6 covid tests over the entire holiday and I didn’t think that was fair given how much they hate them. Long way off I know but I’d rather plan ahead. Not sure Florida cruises will be an option for us for a while!

I’m hoping the situation will change before we go (December 2022) but I have a feeling it might not and the uncertainty around 5-11 and 12+ is making me nervous.
Our cruise is at the beginning of our trip so assumed our fit to fly tests would be okay for my under 12 year old providing she has PCR instead of lateral flow, and then the embarkation day test for us all. I think I’m okay with that testing as we then know it’s done. It’s just the vaccinated status that worries me. Can I ask - did you get your deposit back? |

Hi,
We’re thinking off cancelling as will have a 12 & 14 year old with us who obviously won’t be classed as fully vaccinated, I didn’t think I’d be able to get my deposit back. Sounds like they were happy enough to refund? Not sure wether to wait it out or plan something else for those days instead 🤷 Thanks Louise

We have a 3 night cruise booked in the wish for next August. Our youngest will be 16 by then. I’ve booked a villa and have decided to keep it while we or in the cruise so if we do have to cancel due to DS only having had 1 vaccination our plan B will be sorted as our Disney and universal thickets will still be valid.
A lot can change between now and then though so I’ll definitely wait till the PIF day to decide what to do x |

We’ve got a b2b booked for next august. Dd has had 1 jab so far, I’m hoping the government change to allow for 2 jabs so that’s she’s covered.
I might book a back up plan just incase but won’t cancel the cruise until the last possible day. |
