Any Christmas markets or light trails in/near the New Forest?

Or any must do’s really?

Cheap and cheerful preferred as we’re sadly not out of the woods yet.

We go tomorrow and on Thursday we’re going to head to Bournemouth for the day before we come home. But we have never been to the New Forest and didn’t know if there was anywhere we should definitely visit/eat at/walk through etc.

There is a Christmas tree trail in the centre of Bournemouth - the good thing being its free!

We visited Winchester Christmas market last week and it is lovely as is the town. We used the park and ride which works well and dropped us right near the market.

Park and ride is the way to go in Winchester, although the ride bit doesn't operate on Sundays, we managed to find on street parking, near the train station that is free on a Sunday.

Obviously double check any signs or meters to make sure charges don't apply.

Yep we used the park and ride yesterday

£3.00 for all day as we got there after 10.30. Really easy!

Bournemouth tomorrow before heading home via Clark’s Village.
