Universal Express Passes from ATD
Hi - has anyone ever bought their express passes from ATD? They have some very good prices (compared to Universal direct) for our April holiday. But being a natural pessimist I am worrying why they are cheaper. Can anyone reassure me? Thanks for your help! (Ps - we don’t want to book a universal hotel so buying the passes separately for one day is the option we’re looking at).

I didn’t know they sold express passes. Do you have a link to these?

I just tried to add it but it didn’t post correctly. Maybe you can’t post links on here? I just did a search on safari and it came up.
ETA - it’s got universal-bookings in the web address and is a uk site if that’s any help!

I’m looking at the page now. It says they’re an authorised reseller of universal orlando resort. I’m glad I asked on here now. I thought it seemed too good to be true!
On closer look the site is run by ATD travel services of which attraction tickets direct is one of their brands. Maybe I’ll just book direct!

I have spoken to ATD in the past with regards to Universal Express Passes. They told me they act as a UK agent for Universal and you book them via the Universal UK website. This is their website
universal-bookings/park.html They did tell me they can’t sell the unlimited express passes like what you get when you stay on site so in the end we decided to book a 1night stay. |

Yes - that’s the site! So it does seem legitimate then. I saw it wasn’t the unlimited one, but that’s fine for us. Thank you so much!

Hello. Claire from ATD here
I have just spotted this thread and wanted to reassure you that Mulan40 was right. We are indeed the official agent for Universal in the UK, so we look after the site universal-bookings for them. We are able to offer the one time ride express passes only - the unlimited ride per day express passes can only be purchased via the US site or if you stay within one of their premier hotels which ATD offer too. I hope that is all ok, Claire |
