Overnight hotel near Gatwick Airport

Hi,

im looking to book an overnight hotel near Gatwick Airport the night before we fly.
Im more interested in 1 within walking distance to the Airport (north terminal)
Ive seen there are 2 premier inns, 1 which i THINK there is a bridge of some sort linking it to the airport (i may be totally wrong)
Then another which isnt that far on the map and says on the premier in website that its a 3 minute walk but when i look on maps i cant see any paths, or where the entrance is.

Has anyone stayed at any of these and can give me some insight please?
Thanks

We have stayed at the Premier in North Terminal, it is right opposite. There is a crossing and you are there. Watch some youtube videos and you will see how close it is.

The one you want is PI North Terminal, this is the one directly opposite departures. The others aren't that far, but it's the most convenient and can usually be had for a decent price anyway.

Cheapest walkable is the Premier Inn but some of the others that are also just as close include breakfast so depending on your numbers and needs as well as dates may work out as cheap . Hampton by Hilton is one. If you need parking it's worth checking out the packages as sometimes it can work out cheaper packaging the two together rather than separately.

Cheapest (as in free with Tesco Deals ) is the Hilton attached to the south terminal. Book it direct with the hotel rather than through Tesco/Hotels.com and you won't pay taxes on top. Deals will cover full cost of B&B.

Cheapest if you have to pay real money is the PI just over the road from north terminal.

Really doesn't matter if you stay north or south as both only a couple of minutes ride on the monorail.

We've stayed at the Hilton and flown VS from north and also at the PI and flown BA from the south.

As others have sais, Premier Inn North is directly opposite the North termunal. The Premier Inn on Airport Way (I think that's the address) is walkable but it's more than three minutes and there is a very busy road to cross. If there were a huge difference in price between the two Premier Inns, and you can do the walk during daylight hours, it may be worth it, but personally, I'd pay the extra for Premier Inn North every time.

We always use the the Premier Inn on Airport Way. They have put a crossing spot on the main road and its a 2 minute walk to the terminal. Booked us 4 rooms for £34.50 per room recently.

we always use this one too. The walk is really quick and the new crossing takes the road problem away. We find this one less manic and the restaurant also less busy so more relaxed for dinner and breakfast.
