The drinks thing is great but I feel so sorry when I see them get no tips or a tiny tip, some people or new visitors don’t realise it’s a large part of their wages !
What date should you be going please as we there from the 20 with luck we going 14 nights as there so much you can do. We stay on the strip we just bugged the resort. If you go to Florida you bugget for car hire and car parking so it the same but for resort fee that is if you stay at a hotel where you need to pay a resort fee

We are going to watch the ones where they travel further afield as we like to have a little stay at some where else for a few days Thanks.
You're very welcome Enjoy !

We arrive in LA on the 11th aug but not sure what date we’ll drive over to Vegas yet as don’t want to book anything till closer to the time . We did book mirage last year so may try there again.
Where are you staying ?
Fingers crossed for us both!

I feel like I have been more often, but it is only twice. Once was on honeymoon and then we went again in 2011. We had been thinking of it for April this year at one point.

On the honeymoon trip we combined it with a couple of nights at the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. The other time we went to see Hoover Damn and next trip we would like to Death Valley and as we haven’t made it downtown yet so we will do that too.

We spent the rest of our time wandering through the hotels, have done some coasters and seen a couple of Le Cirque shows. We are not particularly bothered about casinos but we have spent the odd hour on the penny slots and have decided we will do a black tie all nighter at the tables some time (with a strict budget!)

We stayed at the Bellagio on both our previous trips but have decided to try New York New York next time.

What is it you love about Vegas ?
What is it you dislike about Vegas ?
We found it holds a short term interest but I have never found anywhere with more of a sleazy underbelly than Vegas. Fortunately we only used is as a place to fly in an out of before toting Arizona etc. Only staying there for 3 nights in total. The hotels are excellent and all worth a visit in their own right but little else.

We will hopefully be there in August.

We are coming from the Canyon South Rim and will have a look at the Eldorado Canyon Mines and the Hoover Dam on our way in.

We are staying in the New Yor New York and our ‘must do’s’ are the Heartattack Grill, Hooters and also a look in the receptions of a few Hotels/Casinos.. trashy or what?

Gambling and stuff? Not even remotely interested and don’t even do lottery or scratch cards. We are simply spending 2 nights there as we haven’t been and regard it as a finish point after seeing other relatively nearby things... a Corner in Winslow Arizona, Tombstone and a Horse ride, Davis Monthan Aircraft Storage and the Pima Museum... after some West Coast!

Bellagio conservatory, and Venetian both inside and out are well worth a look. South rim is just amazing. Hope August happens for you.
