Insurance for family of 4 but 3 are adults.
We are a family of four but our son is now 20 so is an adult. We have always took insurance out as a family but this does not seem to be possible with him being an adult. Any reccomendations? We also need end supplier failure as we have done it all DIY. Our son also has Aspergers and narcolepsy so need that covering too. Can anyone help before I spend hours trawling for quotes?

Our son is also 20. We have an aviva policy but it has to be done as a group rather than a family. Policy includes end supplier insurance. I know it doesn’t really matter but I find it rather annoying that we can’t be classed as a family just because our son is 20 !

My son is 20 who is autistic and epileptic among other issues, we also had to do a group Insurance. I went with Holiday Extras underwritten by Allianz. They were very helpful and also cover end supplier failure.

Have a look at LV. We had their Premium policy last year, boys were 18 and 21, one has Aspergers. Can't remember if it was a family or group policy.

We booked insurance through unison which is uia. We all have pre existing conditions (nothing serious) was £170, that was the cheapest we found it. Family insurance is so much cheaper but as we have 2 over 18’s not in education we had to go with a group. Looked at LV and Aviva too, they were in the same region of cost. We went for group as I was worried if anything happened to ds then we would be covered for someone being with them as opposed to single policies for them.

We’re insured with Insure and Go. 3 of us. My DS is in his 30’s and has Cerebral Palsy. We’re all on the same policy.
