I'm looking for as many tips as I can get on taking a baby. I will be formula feeding in parks, we will have hire car and going for 2weeks. Any great feed back welcome TIA

Relax and go with the flow! It's really very easy taking a baby before they are up on their feet. Nappies are quite dear compared to here and baby food including brands such as Ella's Kitchen are available if you need them. A lie flat comfy pray/ buggy with a large sun hood is a necessity and a fan is also worth considering for June. Your airline will take your car seat and buggy free of charge.

Also interested in this thread as we are taking our not yet born baby in December. Op are you booking a skycot? I was worried about taking made up bottles through security but apparently it's not a bother they have a special machine. A city jogger has a factor 50 sun hood we have used them for our other children and I will be taking it this time

I used a baby jogger when mine was a baby, it was fab.
Can also recommend using the baby centres in Disney parks. They were brilliant for a break out of the heat. Kate |

get a wee fan and a blackout blind for the pushchair/pram so the sun doesn't bother them when they are sleeping.

Congratulations on being a parent
When my children were small I took nappies and nappy bags, did not then have to worry if a different brand would irritate them(they have eczema) nor did we have to waste time shopping for them. Keep change of clothes in zip bags for park/plane, easy to grab and they seal in that wonderful baby aroma. A Munkin nappy changer - Argos sell them - are great for changing the baby on the plane, compact but you can pack all you need in them. Plane toilets are just too small for large bags and you do not have to worry about hitting other passengers with a small nappy changer (I am clumsy) Remember a change of top for the plane, it is a long way to go if baby has shared their milk with you. Most importantly, relax. You will have a wonderful time |
