Is this not just an extension of the argument made by on-site guests regarding being able to book FP’s at 60 days, before off site guests?
The more you pay, the more you (justifiably) expect, and the more you get? Disney is a business, businesses look to increase revenue streams and profits. This will increase revenues with no additional cost, therefore a good move for Disney. Caveat - have never stayed onsite, agree with the 60/30 day booking restrictions and will probably not visit Disney again (prefer Universal) |

Well it starts today & presumably people staying at those hotels over the next month or two have already got their fast passes booked for the headliners.
I can't imagine anyone paying $ 50pppd to book none headliner rides? I could be very wrong though😂 So from today people in those hotels that pay For the additional FP's can start booking the headliner rides for anytime up to 1st week of April.(Easter) Will be interesting to see how it goes! 😁 |

New paid for fast pass pilot at Disney
Disney food blog are reporting a new pilot scheme at Disney allowing signature guests to purchase, at $50 per guest per day, a package offering the following:
3 extra fast passes per day Which can be used in more than one park provided the appropriate park ticket is bought Plus preferred seats for one evening show per day e.g. HEA one day, Fantasmic the next A 90 day FP booking day, plus being able to book multiple top tier rides instead of just one per park. Seems very expensive and also going to make booking the hard to get fast passes even harder. Edited: hadn't noticed this thread earlier so had posted above as a new thread. Thanks mods for moving it ☺. Seems I was late to the party 😀. Still think its a very expensive, elitist idea. Edited at 10:19 AM. |
