Air Tanker seats

Hi

I am booked from Manchester to JFK and on the seating plan the front row is 2,4,2 it is an air tanker.

The prices for these seats are £35 for near front of plane and £25 for further down the plane

Is the extra £10 just so you can sit at the front.

Am wondering if it is worth the extra cost, as we could pick seats midway on the plane for £25 each.

Any advise would be appreciative

I'm on that flight tomorrow, and will let you know.

We're on row 15 just on the wing side.

It’s exactly the same seating. However you are in a smaller area than the main cabin and being ahead of the engines means it can be quite quiet. We have been in that area six times and prefer it to the main cabin.
Is it worth a tenner more?
For us yes, but as I said earlier the seats, pitch, seatback screens are all the same wherever you sit. Only you can decide if it’s worth the extra for essentially a small section of the plane

We sat row 6 on the air tanker last summer. All the same seats throughout the aircraft. You do feel you're in a smaller cabin and it was a smooth ride. One of the first to be served food/drinks etc and more importantly one of the first off the plane. Depends what you value £10 extra to be worth?
