Absolutely fuming with Mrs MH (fridge shelf).
Mrs MH decided to clean the glass shelfs in the fridge during her lunch break yesterday (she works from home some days), and she took the cold shelf out and insists that the water she used to clean it (in the new sink I fitted for her), was only warm, but taking a cold shelf out and putting it under warm/hot water causes it to instantly smash to pieces.
So to any other women (or man), please never put a cold glass fridge shelf under warm/hot water. Mrs MH is on a verbal warning as a result of this incident.  Edited at 10:08 AM. |

I’d be fuming too. In fact, I’d be so mad, I wouldn’t let her clean the fridge again - that’ll teach her 😱

 Same principle as the elderly guy that tried to tell me not to pour my kettle of luke warm water over my windscreen... probably assuming I had just boiled the kettle ...

My son was missing a shelf out of the fridge in his flat. When I was taking some items to our local tip I saw there was a container with old fridges, so asked one of the attendants nicely if I could see if there was a suitable shelf. He said that it's not allowed to take anything but then if he didn't see me that's ok 😁 So voila I found a new shelf for the fridge!
