Northerner by the way.
Just that my southern husband and his family are a lot more wary about things like that and things like having the front door left unlocked etc than many of my family and friends who grew up in the north (far too trusting)

The first few people I asked split into north v south- the northerners would wash and eat without thinking (but then questioned themselves when it was pointed out) whereas the Southerners immediately wanted to know who left them- I was just trying to see if that was a general trend!

Not as far as I know- I’m overthinking this but it’s such a casual gift it would only be from someone who knew them well enough to know where they lived I’d have thought!

Not a chance, straight in the bin. Could be those Russians and their weird poisons. Can never be too careful.

In the bin - Fresh grapes are as cheap as chips. If they are from a neighbour then surely they would have been responsible enough to leave a note ?

Not sure what quarantine will do except shrivel them ...

(I am a Northerner living in the South but not sure at all why that would make a difference - definitely in the North Chuck em as they certainly wont be locally grown there !)

I'm a Northerner but nope, wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. I would however, drink the champagne if that was left on my doorstep. Why can't I have neighbours like sotogals? !

Nope! Not a big fan of grapes anyway, but a random bag on the doorstep with no note would go straight in the outside bin. Probably wouldn't have even looked inside it.

Paranoid Southerner here.

I’m a northerner and there’s no way I’d touch them. Where I’m from someone would have probably laced them with something as a joke.
