I've finally got around to uploading my holiday photos. In September Andy and I went to Boa Vista one of the Cape Verde Islands.

Spa & Wellness Centre - I had a fab massage here and there was also a Gym, Jacuzzi and Sauna inside...

Thanks Yes really enjoyed it, the travel agents think it will become as popular as the Caribbean but at the minute it's so unspoilt so probably the best time to go. It'd be interesting to see it in 10 years or so to see what's changed as they've already got planning permission for a few more hotels.

The Cape Verde Island of Sal has more hotels on offer and has been available to tourists for longer than the island of Boa Vista. This hotel only opened last October/November and is currently the only one Thomson fly too. Everyone on our flight went to this hotel which seemed very weird at the time

Thanks a lot. There were quite a few people there just for a week with it being just a 5-6 hour flight, would be a nice mini-break

Hi my sister and bil have just come back from here (thurs) they had a fab time really hot weather although said there was not too much else to do, so 7/10 days probably enough.

You'll have a great time i'm sure. You'll have to let me know what you think.

As the post below suggests its such a relaxing holiday as there is nothing to do outside the hotel unless you go on a trip. Some people rented cars but i'm not sure where from as we didn't see anywhere to rent them and the "roads" in some places are hardly roads as we know so i wouldn't have felt safe driving there.

I've also posted about a trip we went on and think i still have some more photos to upload when i have more time.

Thanks, glad to hear your DS and DBIL had a fab time!

We had such a relaxing time and was happy to just go and have nothing to do but wouldn't want this type of holiday all the time xx
