Mickey cabin bag

Does anyone have this cabin bag and travelled with virgin/delta ?
I'm going cabin bag only and all 3 of our cabin bags are too big. This is the nearest to the size they allow ,
Its 2cm too wide but shorter and narrower on the other measurements.
Delta say you can combine width depth and length as long as it's no more than 114cm ,but virgin dont and I'm on delta going out and virgin coming back . This case is 112cm total so should be ok but I dont want to get to the airport and they wont let me on with it then charge me to check it in.

I don't have that bag but in all my years flying Virgin, I have never had a cabin bag checked in the sizer and I use a B1 case so exactly their maximum dimensions. Definitely seen loads of cases larger than mine on the flight as well.

I have 2 American Tourister cabin bags, have flown to various places with them. Flew to New York in 2018 with Virgin & 3 trips to Miami/Tampa with them, and never any issues at all, never had them weighed or measured either.

Not that particular bag but one of my granddaughter's had a Disney case the same size and it was fine on Virgin. I'm impressed you are using it as your case, hers was just her hand luggage. 😂

Not that case, but dd just got a lovely nightmare before Christmas case from Disney store that she wants to use as hand luggage.

It is 2cm too big and we’re flying ba.

I don’t recall ever having our hand luggage size checked with either BA or Virgin so think we will chance it.

I think you could take a truck on BA and they wouldn't check it.

Never will forget the couple in front of me on a BA flight years ago, must have had at least 8 carry on items between them. Crew didn't blink an eye.

Their allowance is very generous, we’ve made good use of it a few times when flying home 💪🏿

It is my hand luggage , that's all I'm taking , I'm staying with family so dont need a big case , half of it is stuff for her, I will have 2 changes of clothes ! Shes getting toiletries etc for me and lending me snow boots etc as I dont think my outdoor kit will be much good in -30 , which is what it is now🥶
