Have they told you to check-in later or is it still the same check-in time? Some airlines still require you to check-in at normal times even when delayed I assume in case they can reduce the delay.

fredflintstone, they’ve checked us in,taken hold luggage and issued boarding passes. We’ll head over at 5ish to go through security so at least we don’t have to stand in the check in line again

We've still no info about flight... Anyone seen a TC rep! Didn't think so! More chance of seeing Robert carlisle and Katie price .. oh wait we did see them this morning in the Terminal. Mr Carlisle was checking in for the virgin flight to Orlando this morning and Mrs price was arriving with her photographer and minder in tow !

This happened to us last year and by the time the plane was ready it was too late to land it at MCO as that closes down for the night. We had 24 hour delay in the end.
We ended up just going home and going back the next morning, they paid for our taxi both ways and we got £530 each compensation. You also might want to phone your hotel so you're not classed as a 'no show' |

Am i right in saying its waiting for the plane to depart Orlando to get to Glasgow first, then it turns around?
Think I seen somewhere else about people delayed from Orlando to Glasgow, guess they are on that plane EDIT Looks like one planned to leave MCO at 16.05 [guessing that is local time - so 21.05 UK time] Edited at 03:31 PM. |

I’m feeling the same way. I could cope with the 10 hour delay, even the 11.5 hour delay,it won’t dramatically change our plans as we’re staying in a villa too. But I’m not confident of leaving today either. At least when this happened last time,it was on the return journey and they told us fairly quickly that we were looking at a 17 hour delay and shipped us to a hotel where we had a room
