Fireworks Cruise

Has anyone done any of the firework cruises. Can you tell me if they are worth the money? What 1 is best to do for 6 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 4? Is there any there any other tips for the cruise?

Thanks in advance

Done the firework cruise on the seven seas lagoon twice. 1st time kids 5 and 8, 2nd time 8 and 11. We all loved it, its was a really special evening. Told some friends who have done it for the 1st time a few weeks ago and there said it was fantastic and definitely doing it again next year.

Remember to take an empty bag to put the left over food and drink in, we was told to take it rather than be put back into store for the next cruise.

We did it in Epcot and thought it was worth it , really special and a fantastic view. It was my husbands birthday so we also had a birthday cake and wine and the boat was decorated. I would do it again

The Pirates & Pals fireworks voyage is fantastic! Not sure if it's changed over the past few years but it included a treasure hunt and relaxed buffet with Captain Hook and Smee beforehand at the Contemporary (buffet was lots of goodies and people were encouraged to fill their pockets).

Our kids were 6 and 8 and my parents were there too and we all agreed it was a highlight of our trip. Our Captain (Patch) was hilarious and watching the fireworks from the lake with the music piped in was incredible.

We also did this a few years ago with girl and a boy aged 8 and 7 and we all enjoyed it too. We got to meet Peter Pan too which was fun.

Take a rain coat or poncho with you just in case it rains as the boats have little protection!

100% We’ve been lucky enough to do it several times, both Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The music is piped into the boat and it just feels so special. We have done both pontoon and grand yacht 1. Can’t recommend enough, we are a party of 14 going in October, can’t wait for the rest of the family to experience the cruise. Always been our favourite part of the holiday. Magic Kingdom being our favourite out the two.

What a coincidence! I’ve just logged on specifically to recommend this. We did it two weeks ago on seven seas Lagoon and it was worth every penny. We all thought so. The lady who steered the boat was full of Disney trivia and knowledge and pointed out loads of things about Disney that I’d read about such as the now defunct wave machine and River Country. Having been to Discovery Island in the early nineties and staying opposite at WL it was fascinating to have a boat tour round the island.

I would definitely recommend this to all Disney fans

We did the Epcot one from the yacht club for illuminations back in October. Really enjoyed it and thought it was decent value for money. We were a family of 5 with kids 16, almost 4 and 18 months.
