Anyone stayed at British Airways villas ?
Hi everyone .
Been looking at the BA site for flights and so on ,found a "deal" that included hire car and a villa ,we have rented loads of villas over the last 25 yrs ,but always privately, but to be honest the total with BA with everything is very tempting ,does anyone have any feedback with their BA villa ? Be very interested to see where they might be located ,and what condition they are kept in etc There are 7 of us travelling |

BA don't actually own any villas they just source them through a management company they have a contract with, you will find your villa will be allocation on arrival, so you will have no idea were the villa will acutely be, could be anywhere within the Disney area which is quite large take a look at the villa location map on the dibb menu and you could end up in any one of the communities, unless you pay extra for a named area even then you will not know which exact villa you will be allocated just the community that you will be staying at.
You will probably find some mixed reviews which will be dependant on the quality of the accommodation that the management company provide some could be good and some could be awful, with allocation on arrival it all depends on what the MC has available when you arrive and can be hit or miss, in the end it all depends on how the actual owner invests in their home. We stayed in a villa booked through British Airways in 2015. It was really run-down and in need of a lot of tlc. We complained several times whilst we were there and didn't get anywhere. We also paid for pool heating which was never switched on.
When we returned home we complained to British Airways and got some of our money back. To be fair they dealt with our complaint quickly and appropriately. Since then we've booked dibb villa's. That way we can also know how many bathrooms were getting, know if the pool is overlooked etc. However, that's not to say I wouldn't book a villa through British Airways again as not all of their villa's will be run down. The plus side of booking flights and villa through them is the fact it's a package holiday and you get the protection that provides unlike booking separately. Forgot to say the location was lovely, the villa was in West Haven in Champion's gate area. |

I’ve not booked a villa with BA, but was looking the other day. They tend to offer the generic Disney area villa, or villas on specific communities such as Windsor Hills. I guess with booking a specific community, at least you’ll know where you are staying.

Our last one was with ba. Was a lovely single storey in SandyRidge, which was a well looked after community not too far from Disney, and with shops and takeaways etc within 5 min drive. It was a nice villa, reasonably well equipped, backing onto some trees/bushes. It was really nice. I guess it is the luck of the draw, though we have always been lucky with ours.

If allocated on arrival , it could be a bit hit or miss ,
We ended up in a villa in Haines city it was clean ,nice pool but a bit worn out , the drive up to I drive area most days was horrendous , we were exhausted by the end of the holiday , never again ,we would only book a named area in the future . Then again if you like driving then your “all set “ |
