How to un-hide FB posts?
I’ve had my awful lockdown day today!
I’m considering drinking wine and eating everything in sight. And crying more. After the final straw with an overbearing, jealous and pretty spiteful mother in law I decided to hide everything in my FB feed. She stalks our every move and then behaves like a child about it. You honestly can’t believe a mother would speak to their child the way she does to OH. It’s appalling. She’s now moved onto me too. Anyway, I now can’t work out how to make it visible again. I only want it visible to me. I’m coming off social media but want to be able to view all the stuff I’ve shared that DS has been up to as a record for him. Can anyone help please? Edited at 06:48 PM. |

Can you not block her so she can no longer see what you post?

I tried that and it seems other family members were keeping her posted which spurred her on with more of her utterly mad behaviour.
Poor DS is constantly under attack by phone it seems It seemed easier to just hide it all and not do FB for now, only now I’ve lost all my stuff! 🙄 |

Thank you.
I don’t think I can do this as we have a company page which has to be linked to a personal account. I’m happy to have a page that only I can see, with the things I’ve hidden (hopefully not permanently) and use it as an album

Do you not just go on to edit your posts & then select who you want to see them, I sometimes post an album to keep on FB & select only me & Hubbie to see it
Good luck MIL sounds horrid 😢 |

Well that’s what I should have done but I saw ‘hide from timeline’ and did that. Now I can’t reverse it.
I’ve made excuses for her for years but I’m finding I can’t now. Enough is enough.

Can you drop them a Facebook message or try Twitter & ask what you can do, maybe there might be some tech geniuses along in a minute or a teenager

Open Facebook in a web browser (not sure if this works in the app)
Click your name in the blue bar to show your timeline Click on Activity Log Click on Hidden From Timeline and wait a minute or two Click on the post you want to unhide and click on the icon that is a circle with a line through it and select allowed on timeline |

Thank you!
I hadn’t thought about trying from an actual computer. I will do that this AM 😊
