Avis: Price of a tank of petrol

Hi there,
I am picking up a intermediate suv with Avis and I am going to pay for a tank of petrol so that I dont have to worry on the last day. I have used them before and have returned both full and empty.
I have never had a suv and I am worried about been scammed (due Avis reputation). I am trying to find out roughly what the rough charge for the tank of petrol for a suv would be. Has anyone paid for petrol with them recently.
thanks

Cost me roughly $50 to fill up a Grand Cherokee (think that is full size rather than intermediate) might have a slightly larger tank.

From my experience with Avis, when i prepay for the fuel they charge the cost of a full tank, think last time it was about $76 for a Suburban, i have always been told what the charge will be at the kiosk when requesting it.

Average current gas price today is $2/45 away from the airport
It will be more to pre pay at the airport I'd say probablynaround $60
Depending on the tank size but may be cheaper
If that helps

We had a Group F with Avis in August (Ford Escape). We paid $43 to bring it back empty. Not sure what $ per gallon was.

I’ve hired from Avis many times and have never had an issue with them at all, I was about $60 when I prepaid fuel for the gmc Arcadia we had in May, back again at beginning of nov and went down a size in car so expecting a Ford Edge sized vehicle and I expect to pay around $50

I paid $67 in August for a Ford Explorer, which is what we agreed to on pick up being assured it was the charge for fuel only... on the invoice when I got home it said $45 for fuel and there were some other small charges that brought it up to $67 so it probably should have been $45 and we were slightly stitched up 🙄.
