Flea Market
Can anyone recommend a flea market?
My dd wants to visit one, has for the last 2 trips but I have been very nervous about trying to find one, I'm not keen on moving out of the tourist area but she's desperate. Ideally we need that isn't out of the way but is safe and people don't approach you to talk, things are priced so we don't have to ask. Basically as little human interaction as possible Does anywhere exist?

There is a huge flea market on the 192. Very popular with tourists. Should be as safe as anywhere.

We went to one in Mount Dora. We like secondhand stuff but it really was crap.

Been to this one a couple times, its mainly fake copies of named brands although we did manage to pick up a decent suitcase on one of them, for all our shopping, but that was back when the pound was worth $2.

We visited the one linked above on Saturday. I wish we hadn't bothered as it was full of tat.

just a word of caution, you said "safe", it's not just about humans, it's about plastic too ... use cash, not credit cards. I'm not saying it's unsafe to use a CC ... but always better safe than sorry

I really appreciate everyone's tips! Hadn't actually considered the card factor yet but I'm very cautious about my cards out there so will make sure we just use cash if the get there.
I'm not to fussed if it's just tat I just want to be as safe as possible, i think she has a romantic notion of buying old 501's and dungarees little chnve I'm sure but I'm sure she'll still be happy she's been in one.
