Universal refillable cups discontinuing
Hi all,
Don't know best forum so feel free to move if needed. We are here now, and have the red refillable cups for universal, now I know it says on them for day of purchase only, but we was told when first bought them you get discounted refills for rest of our stay at the time. And have benefited for multiple trips. We had someone tell us this week they have been discontinued and wouldn't refill although other kiosks have been doing all week, and the next one did. Rep said it was to do with the moving towards the freestyle cups, and was confirmed by guest services. So although still kiosks filling them, just a heads up as I imagine more will stop refilling them as they transition. Had a google and couldn't see anything about it, so just a heads up. Thanks Ben

Interesting! Will watch out to see what happens with this. We've been using ours a few years now

This has happened before. Some will refill and some won't and give you spiel about Freestyle cups. I shall be taking ours next week and see what happens.
I'm not saying it isn't the end but they are never on the same page with this!

You should still be ok at some of the refill stations, was at Jurassic park area who rejected them. But customer services at city walk said this was the case. So could be the same old, just a heads up really.

Sad news but our cup has done us on 4 trips so it's served us well! When we do go back won't be doing universal anyway. Tickets just too much now for us.

We buy a new red cup each year, its used so much during the trip that it just needs binning when we are leaving Orlando. It will become an expensive day having to buy drinks at full price each time we want one instead of the $1.06 refill price
