Virgin car hire refund
Finally gave up on the Aug 30th holiday today & now in the process of cancelling everything.
Car hire was with Virgin but couldn’t get through on the phone so had to send a text message. Does anyone know if there is a email address? My concern is that although it says no cancellation or amendment fees on the website it also has cancellation fees in the T & C’s & this has to be in writing. Has anyone had any problems getting a full refund from Virgin car hire? Any advice would be appreciated. |

Hi. There are no cancellation fees. If they try it on with you let me know as I have the links to show there are none.

Thanks for advice. Virgin are refusing to refund & want to charge 70% of the original payment. They are saying the information on their website only applies to fly drives & not stand alone car hire. I am sure this is not correct but any further advice is always appreciated.

We didn't even ask but got an email from them saying they had cancelled and then refund of full amount for our Aug trip.

As per Andy above. Over the years I have booked and cancelled loads of times. Never had a problem. It's all down to who you speak to but if you have an issue ask them for their E Mail address and hook them the link of their website whilst they are on the phone.
