How many hours before flight to check in?
Hi All
As I’m so used to twilight check at Gatwick, but now we are going from Heathrow with Virgin, how many hours before will we need to check in before our flight? We were due to fly at 10.50 but it has been brought forward to 10.30 now Thanks |

Check in normally opens 3hrs before so aim for then.

My rule of thumb has always been three hours.

I also aim for 3 hours before at the latest. This covers for traffic delays etc.
