Day 9 – Change of Plan

So we were supposed to do Typhoon Lagoon today but we were a bit too close to sunburn after yesterday so managed to get some FPs for MK instead. We went straight in and rode BTMRR and Splash Mountain then stopped for some of these:-

We did the river cruise and Pirates and few other bits

It was now roughly the temperature of the sun so we caught the Steam Train back the exit and the boat over to Wilderness Lodge for some lunch.

Later that day we went over to Disney Springs for dinner

This the last sighting of the Gs sunglasses (oh well)

We tried Earl of Sandwich for the first time it was definitely the best sandwich we had ever eaten the was a comical moment where I was refused service for a beer because I had forgotten my id it went like this.


“oh I will need to see some id”
“oh I have forgotten it, never mind”
“but I can’t serve you without id”
“that is ok I won’t have the beer then”
“but I can’t serve you without it”
“I know”

We left the server to her complex of trying to provide the best service ever/ not being able to serve me alcohol (a diet coke was fine really).

The boys went on to do some more pin trading, I was now learning that you could bribe them to do anything with the mention of a new pin or even just a visit to pin traders.
