+1 for Tripp cases, got a set of soft cases when we got married 9 years ago and apart from one which has some of the beading around the edge worn away they are brilliant. I've got a hard shell lite cabin case from tripp that I tend to use as an overnight bag and it's holding up well, but for some reason I do prefer fabric cases for my main suitcase but I think that's just me!

I prefer soft sided cases as I'm not a fan of how hard sided cases open, but can thoroughly recommend Antler. Mine still looks as new as when I bought it and it's so light. Before that, I had Samsonite and it held up for years. Only really switched as it was a large case and I don't use that size any more, plus wanted to change to spinner wheels.

I've looked at Tripp and it felt quite flimsy to me in comparison to my cases, although I didn't look at all of the different models.

I will never use good, expensive cases when going to Florida. I have seen the way they throw the cases around and have had many that have come back damaged. I have Tripp cases at present and so far they have been fine apart from a few scrapes.
