Thomas Cook pricing
Hi,
I am about to book my flights for June 2020. On the return leg there are two flights leaving on a Sat. 17.15 is £659 for PE, yet the 19.20 is £249 for PE? Am I missing something, or should I just get on and book? |

We've used TC four times recently and perfectly happy.
However sometimes in those flight options they sneak a naughty "one stop" in there as in indirect. If it's direct then go for it Mick

Seems OK then but just check the final summary before you press book.
We can recommend seats 7A & C Mick

Definitely possible. We are going in May, Sat to Sat, but PE on the way back is only £349. However, if I look at flights with them on the Wednesday, they also have PE available at £249!

Rapid response thanks to being on "Forum spy".
We've used TC PE from MAN four times since 2015. Sat in seats 7A & C six times I'm regularly praising TC on here mainly because they are often £1,000 cheaper than VS PE for two. I'm one of those Dibbers who takes the risk of travelling on a tin tube where the cabin crew don't wear red. Poorer choice of IFE to be honest but best outbound food of the UK flights into MCO. Mick

Agreed, I've done the Bubble a few times and whilst we've enjoyed it, I simply cannot justify the cost!
4 of us Man-MCO going out econ, coming back premium with all seats booked is £2139, so have gone ahead and booked.. |

We're lucky enough to visit twice a year - April/May and Nov/Dec and it's basically because TC are so much cheaper than VS that we can afford to do it. Unfortunately TC can't do our PE dates in the autumn but BA are then substantially cheaper than VS. We therefore do MAN in the spring and LGW in the autumn - we are roughly equidistant anyway.
I would add though that we've nothing against VS and probably flown PE with them twice as often as BA and TC combined. If there were only £50 in it I might stick with VS if only for the DS check-in coming home. But red uniforms and a couple more films don't sway me for £1,000 Mick
