The nice sunny weather we have for a change today is giving me itchy feet.

Where are you staying - Are you there two weeks?[/QUOTE]

Oh I can nearly feel the Florida sunshine lol.

Were staying in Formosa Gardens for 2 weeks, the money we saved going to Manchester soon got taken away when we booked villa but hey ho.
My daughter has her own place now so were telling ourselves this will be the last all together Florida holiday! before partners etc start coming, so I wanted somewhere special for us

Where are you staying Shortbread?

Highgate Park.

Been there twice before so familiar with area. Slightly regretting not looking elsewhere, but at least we know what we are getting!

We had hoped to go on the Saturday but it was £800 and £1000 more on the Sunday. So grabbed the Friday as the kids would only miss half a day.

Noticed that until a week before we fly the Glasgow flight is 9.30am. Keep hoping for a flight change for us to arrive earlier... wishful thinking hehe.

Looking forward to a villa. Wish we knew where exactly it was though.

Tibee

We went shopping on Saturday with The Boy. To get Shorts! While I was looking at the sale rack, he'd gone off and found himself a pair of crocs! Did get him 2 pairs of shorts and the crocs!

Yesterday we took Lil Miss. She got some tops, PJ's and shorts and she got kinda like trainer socks but more ballet pump type. So more or less finished bar 1 or 2 things. She wants joggy bottoms for travelling in. She'll moan about being too hot at the other end! I know she will. But hey ho.

So my holiday drawer is almost full. We'll be lucky to fit everything in one holdall. The other will have to take some cheapy towels and an extra bag and the booster seat for The Boy in the car.

Have added a few more off site restaurants to our list. I think we have more restaurants than days. But a list means we can pick and choose.

Just been to tesco and fitted into a size 16 pair of shorts.

I had my gall bladder removed in 2010 and have had issues with my tummy button and the scar from the surgery which resulted in me wearing elasticated waists as all my Buttoned trousers rubbed on my scar despite fitting. I've been loosing weight since we booked the holiday and have lost 8 inches round my waist and I fitted into a size 16 with the button! It's probably making you think "what? " But it's such progress for me. Apparently I had a right beamer when I came out the changing room.

Well 63 days to go, that's 9 weeks now

Good thread yesterday by Pumba getting me all fired up and discovering more Dibber's heading out about the same time as us.

Off to get my eyebrows threaded this morning. Have my holiday appointment booked too :-)

Lovely sunny day. That helps with the excitement.

So funny, I was just counting down myself and read your post!

Sun might not last, I think we are sending some of our West Coast rain right now!
