Hertz Price Changes

Just checked my dates for March/April next year and the Escalade shows as sold out on the UK, French and Italian site. This may explain the jump in price over the last day or so. Supply and demand and all that.

Or possibly realized a price faux pas hence the thread it may appear from some posts the correct price maybe applied or may allow mistake to ride.
As with airline flight glitchs many are not honoured and revert to T&Cs some are honored so will be watch this space.I hope all get the glitch price.

Thanks again Dory17 for what appeared to be a fantastic deal using the Hertz.fr website. I like a couple of others booked the Escalade offer.
My booking did state the price was subject to change and the initial confirmation email stated the price of $708 for 3 weeks. Great. But when I signed in to the reservation to see if I could apply an additional discount rate I noticed that the price had gone up to $732. Now I have just checked the reservation again and unfortunately the price has gone up to $2184.30. The price is still subject to change and is not guaranteed. Me thinks we have been rumbled. However I have not received a price change email from Hertz. I guess the saga continues.

Me too, as i said before, we always planned on booking an Escalade and always knew it was a 50/50 chance we would get it that price, i have always said i will take the amount the escalade is quoted at and if i get it for the glitch price then i shall treat myself in the Outlets

Enjoy whatever happens Kim just one thing to remember Kim the Escalade has the smallest useable trunk space no idea how many of you but is small.

So decided to download the app there for IPad, logged into my Hertz Gold Account and looked at me reservation.

Find the statement 'rate is guaranteed' which I have never seen before on my reservation before when I log in using the browser ...

Anyone notice this?

Actually even more weirder... logged in using the browser and it says the same thing there too - it definitely didn't say that earlier today. I have a screen shot in my previous post to prove it!

Just got this as well, when I tried a "new booking".

I fly in under a year, and my rate is not showing as changed, it has remained the same when I log in on any device. It did not say "Subject to change" under the total like the screen shots on Page 1 either on my email confirmation

Got this message from Hertz via Twitter
"The amount you prepaid is the guaranteed amount. This will not change unless you change something on the reservation like the pick up or return dates or the location of pick up or return. ^SKR"
