Personally I think buffets are very over rated now not a patch on what they used to be .

So I wouldn’t be too fussed if you don’t jse all your vouchers .

I wouldn’t bother with the monorail pass the Wynn doesn’t have a stop and it’s not that far from the Center strip , some of the monorail stations are a long way back .

Personally having done the drive that Williams Arizona recently , I wouldn’t fancy a day trip to the south rim it’s a long drive there and back .

I’d kill to go see Aerosmith , I’m hoping to catch Def Leopard in concert there later in the year but they aren’t a patch on Aerosmith !

Reading all your advice has made it real now! I’m so excited!
We booked it last year and don’t need to pay for it until Monday so it’s kind of being a backburner holiday.

Still unsure what to do about the GC, I don’t think staying a night is an option and there’s so much we want to do I Las Vegas but then we can’t not go and see it when we’re so close!

If you have already done the West Rim I don't think I would personally not try to do the South Rim in a day. Unless of course there is no chance of doing it in the future.

South Rim really deserves a good 8 hours and being there for dusk or dawn.

The buffet at the Wynn is awesome. I can't eat what I used to so have stopped using buffets. Ended up using the Terrace Point Cafe instead. All the restaurants in the Wynn/Encore are really good.

We had a wild couple of days and nights in Vegas in April. Aerosmith were AMAZING. We ended up with fantastic tix and were very close to Steven Tyler all night.
Stayed at Vdara in a gorgoeus room (free 2 nights after collecting Myvegas coins for 8 months) and had 2 free buffets at Aria. Not a gambler so didn't do that. Used Uber everywhere (linked it to my fairfx dollar card) and also got tix on Groupon for the Linq wheel and zip wire experience. Then flew back to the Tampa bay area for some relaxation

Glad you enjoyed Vegas. We have stayed at Vdara before and love it. Staying there for 3 free nights next week, and have free buffets for Aria, Bellagio and Mirage, all with Myvegas. We use Uber/Lyft and dont rent a car unless we are going for a day trip. Bet Aerosmith were brilliant,

I saw Steve Tyler in the Luxor at the billboard music awards not performing just walking through and talking to people he was on his own really cool and really really tiny.

Wynn is fantastic yes it’s a walk but it’s great the buffet is fantastic.

I am with DB though buffets have gone right down even Aria we thought was mediocre.

We have done the day drive to south rim and back it’s a long boring drive but doeable I would nit do it now but I probably would if it was my only chance to see the south rim.

I will never go to “Grand Canyon” West again rip off and let down

Link Uber to your prepaid dollar card (Fairfx in our case). We used Uber all the time as it was hot and I know that nothing is as close as it looks

Have you tried Aria recently? We went in Dec. and thought it was ok. Went in February and it was great. They had introduced new stations and on another forum everyone comments on how good it is. Will find out next week. Having said that I would never pay full price for a buffet. Mine are free with myvegas.

OP have you thought of a Wolfgang Puck reward at MGM if you might get sick of buffets. You can now get as many non premium rewards as you choose as long as you have the LP's of course. You can buy and return if not used.
