Honorary shout out to Logans on Sand Lake though 👍
We've been very lucky with Longhorns over the years I guess but everywhere we go we ask for the steaks to be unseasoned. That suits our particular palates better - you can always add seasoning. And we have some food intolerances.

Can't really complain about Logans on 192 opposite Old Town but just a bit of a trek from Highgate Park when we have Longhorn and Texas much closer. There was a Logans at Rolling Oaks a few years ago but it quickly closed down and became a Hooters.

Like others, after around 25 Steaks ( likely Flo’s fillet) at Longhorn, I have had a couple that were … ok and the remainder, excellent. This is inevitable with Steaks as the raw product is never going to be identical, nor the chef.

I always have steak rare also when it is a fillet.

Outback (around 4 times) , never a problem.

Some good suggestions on here…. Can’t beat a good steak at a nice restaurant. Nothing nicer…. With a nice bottle of red.

Making me hungry now…

Only one thing, we tried longhorns near Universal after recommendations here and were not too keen on it. Think I remember it (or the meal in general) being far too salty!

Shula’s in the Dolphin.

By far the nicest steak I’ve ever had in Florida.

There is also one on the 192 quite close to I4.

charleyssteakhouse/locations/

However, the last time we ate there it was a disaster and have never been back. Much prefer Del Frisco's on I Drive but its expensive for something more reasonable Longhorn or Outback.

Longhorn on 192 near Old Town asked us if we wanted the steaks with or without seasoning a couple of weeks ago.

Not sure if they have moved or just closed completely because of Crossroads closure but the Steaks at Johnnie Hideaways were outstanding. Disney wise had good steaks at Cali, Flying Fish, Le Cellier & Kona but I'm not sure they are so good they are worth that price IYKWIM

Wasn't aware the one on the 192 was a franchise had one poor and one decent meal there. The one on US27 near Southern Dunes as you say is excellent. It's a must do for us every trip.

We've had a few at Johnnies, they were excellent. It is closed now but it's the same restaurant group as Charleys.
